Hi, you can call me Jim!

About Me!

Hi there - it's nice to virtually meet you!I've gone by many versions of my name over the years - James, Jimmy, Jimbo - but these days, most people simply know me as Jim.I'm genuinely grateful you're here and that you'd like to learn a little about me and why I created The Aligned Path.If you asked me who I am, I'd probably smile and simply say, "I Am." That answer reflects years of growth, because I wasn't always this aware. For more than twenty years, my work has centered around helping people navigate life's most difficult transitions. Through my role as a clinical liaison in healthcare, I've guided individuals and families through rehabilitation, long-term care, home health, hospice, insurance coverage, and the many complex decisions that come with those experiences.Along the way, I became an ordained minister, I became a Reiki practitioner, I became an end-of-life doula; I've explored spirituality, philosophy, and theology, and eventually became a Certified Life Coach. Looking back, what once felt like a chaotic journey of crazy paths was ultimately preparing me for the work I do today.Like many people, my journey has been shaped by both difficult experiences and personal growth. I was raised surrounded by many truly beautiful different characters. At times, these characters made me thrive: at times, these characters challenged me. Unfortunately for my old mindset- I naturally gravitated towards negative belief systems. There was a time when I struggled to find any light within the dark. Today, I strive to be the light I spent so many years searching for, and finally found.Over the years, I realized I have a natural ability to recognize patterns in people and situations. Some call it intuition. Others call it pattern recognition. Whatever you wish to label it, it has allowed me to help people bring clarity to what often feels like chaos.I had no clue what I wished to "do" with my life. It wasn't until I surrendered to the unknown - truly reached my lowest low - before I could rise.I don't want to tell people how to live their lives- I want to guide them - to help them better understand themselves; to better navigate their life- making their decisions consciously and confidently. The answers people are searching for already exist within them. Sometimes, it simply helps to have someone guide them as they uncover those answers.Today, I work with individuals navigating relationship challenges, career transitions, personal growth, and general life transitions that feel heavy. I specialize in narcissistic abuse dynamics. My role isn't to provide all the answers - it's to help create clarity, perspective, and confidence so people can move forward in a way that feels true to themselves. At my core, I believe everyone requires clarity to move forward with the direction they wish to go. I believe all deserve the opportunity to love, and be grounded in their own life.To me, an aligned path isn't about living a perfect life. It's about creating clarity to bring forth the changes needed to walk the path you love - the path you're aligned and destined to be.Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about me.
